MY STORY

I am someone who likes to delve deeper to understand things. After finishing my Fine Arts degree , I left Spain to explore the world. At 24, I decided to go to the Idomeni refugee camp , located on the border between Greece and Macedonia, to understand if borders were truly necessary in society. I spent six months immersed in a self-managed collective project, witnessing a great deal of human suffering (Aid Delivery Mission).

Upon my return, I brought back PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder) that lasted for years , though I wasn't fully aware of it for a long time. The trauma sparked a passion for activism and human rights in me, but it also distanced me from many people I loved.

Looking back, I realize that trauma can be quite a peculiar thing. For a long time, I didn't dare call it trauma, as I felt my suffering was insignificant compared to the experiences of people I met who came from war zones. This made me realize how often we underestimate our own suffering.

For the past few years, I have worked in shelters for refugees and the homeless , and each person I met only deepened my curiosity about human nature. I completed a Postgraduate Diploma and a three-year Master's degree in Art Therapy and Community Projects at the Metàfora School in Barcelona.

At this time I am a member of the ATE (Association of Art Therapists) and I have my private practice in Madrid , while I study for a degree in Psychology.
